About Me
People seem to have a drive toward happiness, fulfillment, a sense of purpose and of competence. Some, possibly content, even thriving in most areas of life, are unhappy and puzzled that they're not in a relationship; others are unhappy because of conflicts in an already established relationship; others, satisfied with whatever their relationship status is, feel stuck in another area. Many want to do something about this, though it's understandable that individuals and couples don't enter therapy with the same enthusiasm they have for their favorite activities! I know it's a leap to bring one's feelings and thoughts to someone we don’t know.
I work with people in a nonjudgmental, empathic manner (we’re all human!) to help clarify what is desired in life, love or work, and to assist in sorting out, understanding, and resolving what's getting in the way.
I have more than 30 years of experience as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and group and couple therapist.
