About Me
I have been a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1996, with over 20 years of experience in the field . Through my therapy practice I help men, adolescents and their families to live healthier lives by using their strengths to build positive outcomes, feel more fulfilled, and turn their dreams into realities. I am Santa Cruz CAMFT’s Membership and Prelicensed Support Group Chairs.
I am a Collaborative Divorce Coach and Mediator. As a member of a collaborative team, I utilize a structured process to obtain the best outcomes for the entire family. I help people identify their needs and the needs of their children while respecting both their and their partners’ values.
I have been a counselor at Cabrillo College, and have also taught classes in counseling and career planning there. At San Jose City College I taught in their Alcohol and Drug Studies credentialing program.
Over the past decade, I was the Director of Rebekah Children’s Services Wraparound, Therapeutic Behavioral Services and Foster Care-Adoption programs in Santa Clara County for at risk children ages 5-18 and their families. I managed and directed similar programs at EMQ-FamiliesFirst in Santa Clara and at Unity Care, Inc. in Monterey County.
I also run, compete in triathlons, SCUBA dives, travels, and enjoys being with his family.
